About Splash Express Car Wash
Splash Express Car Wash is a car wash in Urbana, Illinois. It is listed at 501 E University Ave, Urbana, IL 61802, which places it among the local businesses of Urbana that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Urbana, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Illinois, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Splash Express Car Wash at (217) 693-8559; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Another change in ownership later, this place hasn't really seen improvement. Mostly, it seems deserted. Upon calling the number, someone answered and we made an appointment. Nobody showed up when we got there, and we called again. They had forgotten. Then, after another 20min they showed up and offered us to do a standard detailing job for an outrageously expensive price. Since these gentlemen apparently seemed not to be all too interested in anyone's patronage, we'll kindly do them the favor and recommend to leave them be.

First time getting the Tesla washed, so I was paranoid about making sure I went to the right place. And boy am I glad I went here!! The service was professional and affordable. My man Adam was super friendly and made my entire day. He helped me understand the process, and gave me a beautiful coating at a discount. Adam informed me he has been in the car washing business for 9 years, and his dedication shows!

Used to be a regular here when it was quick and cheap. They increased the prices (the cheapest wash is now like $15 when it used to be $7) and apparently there's no more auto-wash and it's only hand washes now?? Spent 15 mins sitting in my car while employees washed and dried. Missed so many spots and my car was still covered in dirt and water marks after.

Moe did an amazing job and an amazing price on my SUV that was filled with dog hair after transporting two dogs on a 31 hour car ride. I’ve never had my car detailed in the 3 years I’ve had it. He is reasonable, honest, and personable. Thank you! My car looks and smells amazing.
